I am a child of small business. From an early age I was taught to value the hard work and challenges that make a successful business. I inherited the drive and the tenacity from my mother, who never gave up until she found the perfect outfit for her customer. My communication skills and love of networking comes from my father, who at his pinnacle, was Chapel Street’s king of retail. I watched the booms, I endured the busts, and I take my lived experience of business development with me and apply it to every role and every project.
Co-founding and running operations in my own business has re-enforced my passion for helping SMEs grow and thrive.
I established The Flying Bike, Melbourne’s largest mobile bicycle workshop. I grew this business from a backyard hustle, to become a leading player in the field of bike servicing and repairs. We now employ 10 mechanics and are proud of our client portfolio which includes large corporations, schools and national cycling events. Our company changed the bike servicing landscape and continues to push boundaries and maximise opportunities in the industry.
